Laying out the next clay painting. I mix this wild clay by hand no screening ,leaving rocks ,roots and other debris in the clay. The idea is to allow the material to speak for itself. Refinement is ok but sometimes we get in the way of nature . Letting go of hyper control can reveal new perspectives of coarse there are risks involved but it’s just a chunk of clay.

Baby Girl was fighting with some copperheads and got bitten on the leg last Friday. The Vet took good care of her . Pain killers and antibiotics . She seems to be feeling much better , wanting to get outside after spending several days inside sleeping. She’s very cautious as she moves about. The Vet said there have been lots of snake bites this summer . I’m certainty paying closer attention to what’s around me and Baby Girl.
