This year Art Bloc officially became a nonprofit, and now we’re throwing our very first fundraiser. Meet the Wishing Tree.

Come spend an evening with us on Saturday, November 14, 6 to 9pm, at 200 Gate 5 Rd #110 in Sausalito. Good people, good art, and a chance to help shape what this space becomes next.

Tickets are $111 for a Leaf and $222 for a Branch.

If you can’t be there in person, you can still give from wherever you are. Whatever you give will help our branches keep growing.

Three wonderful Northern California poets are coming to the studio for a reading next month, and we’re so excited to host them.

Katie Peterson, Tim Hunt, and Benjamin Gucciardi will be reading from their work on Sunday, November 8, 4 to 5:30pm. It’s free, it’s cozy, and it’s a great excuse to spend a Sunday afternoon in Sausalito.

200 Gate 5 Road, #110. See you there!

The team is dreaming up the most epic fundraiser you have ever attended. Think artists taking you on a creative journey of activities you didn’t know you needed 🎨🤘 Yes to w**e and cheese and YES to connection and making things together 🙌✨ Stayed tuned for the founders video and more information about the fundraiser 🧧🪎

As we think about programming for the end of the year and into spring, we want to build it with you, not just for you. A few ways to help us build together

•If you’re interested in teaching a workshop at Art Bloc, reach out. We want to hear what you know and what you love enough to share.
•If there’s something specific you’d want to attend, tell us. This is a community-generated space, and we take that seriously. We can’t build what we don’t know people need.

To think differently, you have to go somewhere different. This week, a team traded the conference room for our studio, and the ideas showed up right along with the paint. This is what a corporate offsite looks like at Art Bloc Sausalito.

Charcoal, focus, and a room full of artists finding their lines. Last night’s figure drawing session reminded us why we love this community. Grateful for everyone who showed up and shared the space. Next session is August 31st, save the date!
