Undulate I & II are headed off to Longboat Key tomorrow to be hung in the Town Hall. Each 6x6 textured mixed media piece on wood panel sits in a white floating frame. They flow nicely into one another, making an excellent beachy diptych for a small space.
$100 each.

It's October - breast cancer awareness month - and the perfect time to repost this painting.
Extra Pink! celebrates the female form, feminine resilience, and of course the color pink - a favorite of mine 🩷
I'm going to get my mammogram next week and you should too, if you're due. Take care of those ta-tas, ladies!

Progress on some smalls. Finally movin' and groovin' in the fresh studio. It feels sooooo good!

I'm really enjoying exploring cold wax and oil. It's been a fun way, in addition to a separate sketchbook challenge I'm participating in, to get back into the studio groove.

I am a big fan of art publications, so when I was asked to be part of this beautiful coffee table book that hits the presses in November, I couldn't believe it!!
I have a six page spread inside, along with 49 other amazing contemporary women artists from Florida. 🩵

Today is the last day of the pre-sale price, which is $10 off.

Playtime! STUDIO TIME!!!!
I'm so happy to be able to play in my new studio. I still have some organizing to finish, but I have a clear table and the need to create!
I watched a playback of Lisa Mann oil and cold wax video, since I haven't worked with that technique yet. It was super fun to NOT be tied to an outcome. I love unexpected surprises. I went too thick on this first layer and it started to get muddy, but it was so much fun. I'd definitely do it again. It just FEELS good. And it sure feels AMAZING to be working in my studio 💕

My art would look FABULOUS on your walls!
I'll be honest - the business side of being an artist is not my favorite. I have been working to update my website and include more images and details in the shopping cart (which has been turned off for some time). I spent a better portion of the day making little in situ rooms between Chat and Procreate. I think they look pretty nice, so I had to share.

It's getting cozy up in here.
I mean that in all the ways. Lol. It's cozy/homey and also getting tight! I have too much STUFF
I have a lot of organizing left to do, but I'm getting somewhere!! My feet are sore from moving. Good thing I have this cute footstool 😁
