🌳✨ A Piece of Florida History Comes to Life! ✨🌳

Be sure to visit the Museum of Seminole County History during the Geneva, FL 4th of July Parade & Festival and experience the fascinating story of "The Senator"—one of the oldest and most famous trees in the world.

Discover how wood from the legendary 3,500-year-old cypress tree, which tragically burned in 2012, is being reborn through a special display that preserves its remarkable legacy. But the story of The Senator is about much more than an ancient tree. It is a journey through Florida's history—from its beginnings in a prehistoric cypress swamp, to serving as a landmark for Native Americans, to becoming a treasured centerpiece of a Seminole County park established during the Great Depression.

This unique exhibit offers a rare opportunity to connect with thousands of years of Florida heritage and see how history can be preserved for future generations.
