Sausalito artist Sue Averell founded Sausalito Artists @ Work in 2010 to promote local, San Francisco Bay Area artists. The group focused on one, annual open studio event that took place Labor Day Weekend. This event no longer takes place. In 2016 Sue opened Gallery Sausalito, a retail gallery and working art studio in downtown Sausalito. Sue along with the Princess Street Merchants, and the Sausa
lito Chamber of Commerce produced one Artists' Street Party Event in 2018. We have another planned to take place when we are permitted to gather in large groups.
