Looking for something exciting to do on upcoming school holidays and break weeks?

Hiller Aviation Museum's School Year Camps offer hands-on STEM and aviation adventures for students in grades K-5. With single-day camps, Fall Break, Winter Break, Ski Week, and Spring Break programs, campers can explore, build, experiment, and discover in a fun museum setting. Registration is now open for select camps running September through December 2026.

The wait is almost over!

Hops & Props Beer Fest returns to the Hiller Aviation Museum on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 12 PM to 4 PM.

Enjoy local craft beer from Devil's Canyon Brewing Company, live music by The Montgomery Coe Band, wine selections, and an afternoon spent among historic aircraft.

Calling all car lovers.

Ferrari. Lamborghini. McLaren. Porsche.

You'll find them all at the Hiller Aviation Museum's Exotic Car Show on September 26.

We've shown you the lower deck. Now, here's a look at the upper deck.

If the lower deck looked rough when it arrived, the upper deck was no exception. Exposed wiring, missing panels, worn interiors, and years of use meant there was still a tremendous amount of work ahead.

These photos capture what the restoration team had to work with as they began bringing the aircraft back to life. Every cleaned component, repaired panel, and restored section represented another step forward in preserving this piece of aviation history.

With the help of dedicated Hiller Aviation Museum restoration shop volunteers and United Airlines technicians, the upper deck slowly began its transformation from a worn aircraft interior into the exhibit visitors experience today.

The journey was still far from over, but the vision for what this Boeing 747 could become was already taking shape.
