We hope to see y’all at the studio this week to welcome this month’s artist Bob Rules!

Bob Rules is a multidisciplinary artist, tattooist, and musician whose work fuses dark surrealism, Americana, tattoo flash, street art, and abstract expressionism. Bold, raw, and unapologetic, his art explores the beauty found in chaos, resilience, and the stories etched into everyday life.

Whether on canvas, skin, or through music, Bob Rules creates with instinct and authenticity, transforming emotion into striking visual narratives that challenge convention and invite deeper connection.

Whether through paint, ink, or music, Bob Rules is dedicated to creating meaningful experiences that inspire, provoke thought, and celebrate individuality. His work continues to evolve while remaining rooted in originality, passion, and a commitment to artistic excellence.

Visit us for the opening of the show this Thursday, August 6th from 7–9pm and First Friday, August 7th from 6–9pm.

Join us this Thursday, July 2 at Carbon Bloom for Spaces Between Selves a solo show by Priyanka Chaudhary . We will be open on Thursday from 7-9pm and then again on First Friday from 6-10pm. We hope to see you this month!

Priyanka Chaudhary, born in 1996 is a female artist based in San Antonio, Texas, whose multidisciplinary practice spans painting and woodworking. Through body surrealism and abstract, ribbon-like forms, Chaudhary discovers themes of love, intimacy, and self-discovery. Her work examines the ways in which individuals emotionally unravel and reconstruct themselves in pursuit of understanding and becoming.

Drawing inspiration from Renaissance and Baroque art, contemporary painting, and architecture, Chaudhary creates dreamlike compositions inhabited by faceless figures suspended between dissolution and transformation. By omitting facial features, she invites viewers to project themselves into the emotional landscape of each work, fostering a deeply personal connection to the figures and their experiences.

Her compositions often juxtapose graceful, fluid forms against chaotic and turbulent surroundings. These environments serve as metaphors for the inner conflicts, uncertainties, and emotional burdens that frequently remain unseen. At the core of her practice is a desire to depict what she describes as “chaos in the most beautiful way”—an exploration of the tension between external expectations and internal experience. Her work reflects the reality that, despite profound inner turmoil, society often expects individuals to continue moving forward with composure and resilience.

Ai might be taking over the world but we still value the human experience and touch above all. That’s why this Thursday, from 7pm to 9pm, we’re having the opening of Flesh and Bones. We have invited some of our digital artists colleagues to share their human made creations. We are graphic artists, illustrators, designers but above all, we are creators. Come out to support humans. .is.on
