Monday night's full moon rising over Hatteras Island. 🌕 There are moments when nature doesn't need embellishment... just a quiet pause to take it in. The light on the water, the stillness, and the reminder that beauty is always there for those willing to look.

Discover the Hidden Art Studio

If you're out exploring Hatteras Island this week, I'd love for you to stop by my little outdoor studio space in Salvo.

I'll be outside Monday & Tuesday from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM with original paintings, fine art prints, note cards, and a few handcrafted gifts.

If you're making the rounds to local galleries...or simply enjoying a drive around the island, take one more stop and say hello. I'd love to meet you and share what I've been creating.

Several people have asked where I found the "Please Turn Off Outdoor Lights at Night" sign that's been in my yard, so I finally put it online.

Living on the Outer Banks, we all know how important our dark skies are...for sea turtles, birds, wildlife, and honestly, for us too. There's nothing quite like stepping outside and seeing the stars.

Open Studio Update

There will be no Open Studio days from June 13–23.

I plan to reopen on June 25, weather permitting.

What a fun group of visitors at the studio today in Salvo, NC.

One of my favorite parts of opening the doors is never knowing who will walk in next. Great conversation, shared stories, lots of laughter, and a genuine appreciation for art made for a memorable afternoon.

A quiet moment with a collector and one of my original paintings.

One of the things I love most about creating art is watching a piece find the person it was meant to live with. What begins as an idea in the studio eventually becomes part of someone else's daily experience.
