Oregon Electric Railway Museum The Oregon Electric Railway Museum is owned and operated by the Oregon Electric Railway Historical S The new museum has been expanding ever since.

The museum moved from its original location at Trolley Park in Glenwood, Oregon to Brooks, Oregon in 1996. The new museum had to be built from scratch. Since 1996 we have built over a mile of track with overhead wire and yard leads, a carbarn with 4 tracks, a powerhouse, and a depot.

Okay here is yesterday's Trivia answer on which car in this photo has the highest official seating capacity.

The winner Sydney O-Class tram #1187 with 80 seats. However in today's realities it is closer to 64 seats. Still very dense seating for 45 feet. The car also loads very quickly, useful during busy events. Crush load with passengers on the running boards is 128. We do not do that at the museum.

In second place is the double-decker with 78 seats, 46 upper, 32 lower. However today that rating is closer to 60-65. Crush load is not published. This car is very popular, but very slow to load and unload.

In last place, but really first place is the MAX Type-1 LRV with 76 seats. And will seat 76 today. MAX really wins with a crush load capacity of 265.
