Join The Satanic Temple of Salem & Artist and Author Jake Kobrin for “The Devil’s Work: Transgression, Rebellion, and the Sacred Outlaw in Magical Tradition”. This lecture will trace the role of deliberate transgression across esoteric and spiritual traditions, from antinomian currents in Gnosticism and Ta**ra through to Thelema, chaos magick, and left-hand path movements of the modern era, exploring why rebellion against orthodoxy has so often been the engine of genuine spiritual innovation, and what that means for us today.

GOTH YOGA BY CRYSTAL OF HEALTH
Join Crystal of Health Goth Yoga for an hour of an all levels yoga to the sounds of New Wave, Dark Wave + Post-Punk! Then stay and mingle. We’ll flow to a curated playlist to the sound of Joy Division, Depeche Mode, Boy Harsher and other goth favorites! No props will be needed except a mat. It will start slow and build. Expect to sweat a little, deeply stretch and surrender into a peaceful co**se pose. Yoga mats, snacks, and water provided by the Salem Art Gallery/Satanic Temple of Salem, though you are welcome to bring your own.

Join The Salem Art Gallery & Artist and Author Jake Kobrin for “The Devil’s Work: Transgression, Rebellion, and the Sacred Outlaw in Magical Tradition”.

This lecture will trace the role of deliberate transgression across esoteric and spiritual traditions, from antinomian currents in Gnosticism and Ta**ra through to Thelema, chaos magick, and left-hand path movements of the modern era, exploring why rebellion against orthodoxy has so often been the engine of genuine spiritual innovation, and what that means for us today. Jake Kobrin is a multimedia artist, author, and esoteric practitioner. Kobrin has recently published “The Path Within: Ritual Magick and the Gateway to Self-Mastery” through Crossed Crow Books, which examines ceremonial magick as a framework for psychological sovereignty and self-determination. His artistic practice spans tattooing, visual art, and multimedia installation, with conceptual threads exploring autonomy, symbolic systems, and the intersection of aesthetics with consciousness.
