HINENI | הנני | Baruch Hashem!

As the HINENI exhibit comes to a close, we thank the curators and artists who helped make this an awesome show!

Hineni, meaning “here I am,” is the answer our ancestors gave when called to something greater than themselves. This exhibition invited each artist to answer that call, offering their presence, their voice, and their art in service of a higher Jewish purpose. Together, their work became a moving reflection on Jewish identity, faith, and community.

Thank you to our incredible artists:
Jon Burgerman
Zoya Cherkassky
Peter Decherney
Marc Dennis
Lisa Edelstein
Aliza Stone Howard
Noa Ironic
Joel Mesler
Navot Miller
David Miretsky
Mark Podwal
Robert Russell
Pinny Segal Landau
Austyn Weiner
Allison Zuckerman

A special thank you to , curator of HINENI, for her vision in bringing this powerful collection together, and to for the collaboration and support that made it possible.

It was an honor for and Center For Jewish Life Sag Harbor to open our doors and provide a home for these works and artists in Sag Harbor.

And to everyone who visited, shared, supported, and showed up, thank you for answering the call with us.

“Yigdil Tora Veya’dir”
Acrylic on canvas, 48” x 48” (2024)by

Dynamic layers and rhythmic movement reflect the power of sacred wisdom in motion. This piece speaks to growth through study, light through knowledge, and the strength that comes from honoring what is true.
