Thanks to our friends at Regional Transit Service for getting their vintage transit bus ready for display at our Rochester Subway Gala at the George Eastman Museum on Sunday! This General Motors TDH 4012 transit bus was purchased by RTS in 2000 and restored to look like the buses that once served the city of Rochester after the Subway shut down in 1956. GALA AND GRACE: Grace & Disgrace is an intimate classic cocktail bar tucked away at Main and Richmond in Rochester, where Ralph DiTucci has spent the last four years creating expertly crafted cocktails and memorable experiences. For the Rochester Subway Gala on June 21 at the George Eastman Museum, we asked Ralph to create two exclusive signature cocktails for our 1950s-themed evening of cocktails, cinema, and local history.

The "Commuter's Pal" is a rich blend of bourbon, Campari, and dry vermouth, while the "Car 75" combines London Dry gin, lavender simple syrup, lemon juice, and ch*****ne. Along with a selection of non-alcoholic refreshments, these custom cocktails will help set the mid-century mood as we celebrate the 70th anniversary of the end of Rochester Subway service and support the restoration of Subway Car 60.
