Tuesday, October 13 | Business After Hours & Ribbon Cutting
We're celebrating Cory Budnick and the opening of her new business, Cory Budnick Health Insurance Agency! Stop by the North Shore Building at 333 N. Third Street from 4:30–6:30 PM for appetizers, refreshments, and a chance to congratulate Cory on this exciting new chapter. Ribbon cutting at 6 PM!
Wednesday, October 14 at 6pm is the Jr High RC Bears Tackle Cancer fundraiser game in Hillman. All funds raised will be donated to Friends Together Alpena to help aide those in their fight! Check out the game, support the Bears and an important cause!🧡🖤. 🩷
Thursday, October 15 | Invasive Shrub Workshop
Huron Pines, the Huron Coastal Invasive Species Network, and The Presque Isle Conservation District are hosting a workshop for anyone interested in learning how to manage invasive shrubs. 3–6 PM at the Presque Isle Conservation District, 301 N. Third Street.
Saturday & Sunday, October 17–18 | Harvest Days
Get outside and enjoy fall at the Herman Vogler Conservation Area, hosted by Presque Isle Conservation District
From 11 AM–3 PM both days, enjoy guided hikes, live music, food trucks, demonstrations, vendors, and more. Come out and enjoy the beautiful fall colors.
Saturday, October 17 | Fall Karaoke Festival
The Rogers City Servicemen's Club is opening its doors to the public for a night of karaoke! Festivities kick off at 7 PM. Warm up those vocal cords and bring your best shower-singing confidence!
Sunday, October 18 | Afternoon Tea at the Bradley
Enjoy an afternoon tea hosted at the Presque Isle County Historical Museum from 11:30 AM–2 PM. Can't make it this Sunday? There's another opportunity on October 25!
Pre-registration is required, so visit the Presque Isle County Historical Museum website to reserve your spot.
One of our favorite summer farmers market vendors, Ox Heights, has something fun going on this weekend! 🌰 🐑 Stop by Saturday, October 17, from 12–6 for an open orchard and u-pick day. Pick chestnuts, visit the oxen and sheep, and even roast some chestnuts over an open fire. A little fall fun and a chance to experience something you might not find just anywhere!
Looking out to next Monday, October 19, our Rogers City Area Senior and Community Center will be holding a Community Health Event, food drive and raffle. More information on these events can be found in the comments!
