Rogers City, let’s fill the theater.

On Monday, June 15, we’re kicking off Murals On Main - Rogers City week with something truly special: a free community showing of Memoir of a Snail at the Rogers Theater.

And this isn’t just a movie night.

One of our Murals on Main artists, Julian Clavijo, helped bring this incredible film to life as a Principal Sculptor, working on puppet making, props, backgrounds, and skies. The film went on to receive major recognition, including Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations for Best Animated Feature Film.

That means we have the chance to sit together, right here in Rogers City, and watch a film shaped by the hands and imagination of an artist who is also bringing his talent to our downtown walls.
You'll also get to hear directly from Julian with a Q&A session afterward!

One of the things that makes Murals on Main so special isn't just the art on the walls, it's the moments that happen between neighbors.
Wednesday, June 17th, we're gathering at Lakeside Park Pavilion for our South of the Border Community Dinner and we'd love for you to be there.
Come share a meal, meet the artists who are transforming our downtown, and be part of something that makes Rogers City feel like home.

One week to go!

We're excited to share the full schedule for Murals On Main 2026, happening June 15–21 here in Rogers City.

From the opening film screening and community dinner to Trivia Night, Art Walk, Kids Day, Comedy Night, and our guided mural tour, it's going to be a week filled with art, creativity, and community.

Of course, the real stars of the week will be the artists as they transform walls throughout town into lasting works of public art inspired by this year's theme: Past Meets Paint.

30 DAYS OUT!

The countdown is officially getting real, and we have another artist and building pairing to share.

Please help us welcome Megan Lingerfelt of Knoxville, Tennessee, who will be painting at Rygwelski’s IGA during Murals On Main.

This pairing brings together a talented visiting artist and a beloved Rogers City business, and we are so excited to see what Megan creates for this historic downtown space.

Over the next 30 days, we’ll keep sharing more of what’s coming to Rogers City as we get ready for a week filled with art, history, community, and a whole lot of paint.

We are officially 100 days away from the 2026 Rogers City Murals on Main Festival, and the excitement is building.

Over the next few months, we’ll be sharing artist announcements, event details, activities, and plenty of updates as we prepare for another incredible festival in Rogers City.
