Rock River Towers under construction, c. 1962–63, at 913 N. Main Street Rockford, Illinois.
The concrete core is up and leasing has already begun for what would open in 1963 as one of Rockford’s first high-rise apartments—14 stories, about 110 units, on the Rock River just north of downtown.

The Pennsylvania 1110 Panzer was a compact 10 hp garden tractor built from 1964 to 1969 in Waynesboro, Va. It is part of the short-lived Pennsylvania-branded continuation of the earlier Copar/Panzer line.
Unfortunately, the black and white hides the “tantalizing turquoise” color these were known for.

I hope you give us a follow and be on the lookout for upcoming content. I've been scanning negatives and getting stories around when I have a chance.

I'm in the process of restoring a 1930s Arts & Crafts style house and making the most of pleasant weather. Unfortunately it is time consuming.

Future plans involve posting daily pictures from our archive, interesting stories and trivia, creative uses of AI in presenting the past, and eventually publishing a high quality physical magazine.
