new Animals of the Savanna habitats, which opened in fall of 2018 and feature a southern white rhino, giraffes, zebras, and over a dozen smaller species. Your visit directly helps save animals from extinction, as you support the efforts of Seneca Park Zoo, a national leader in species survival and conservation action.

Tomorrow is the last ZooBrew of the season, and the weather is looking great! ☀️

We'll have live music by Good Time Charlie, Jackson Cavalier Music, and Another Vice. 🎸We'll also have interactive games, Ambassador Animal meet & greets, keeper chats, and you may even have a chance to see the newest member of our herd, Felix!

It's the best way to kick off your weekend plus just by attending you're supporting elephant conservation worldwide! 🐘

Beginner Birding Tours are back this Saturday, and the weather is looking gorgeous after this week of rain! 🐤☀️

This tour is for birders of all levels and is led by our resident bird nerd, Megan Murante. Megan works with the Zoo’s Learning and Engagement department and is also a dedicated volunteer for Braddock Bay Bird Observatory!

During this tour she will teach you how to spot and listen for birds before the Zoo officially opens. Binoculars will be provided but space is limited, so be sure to sign up today while you still can!

Felix, a 43-year-old female African elephant, is the newest resident at Seneca Park Zoo—and she’s already showing off her BIG personality!

For the next few weeks, Felix will be busy exploring her new surroundings, getting comfortable in her new home, and training with our dedicated staff. Then stay tuned for the big moment when she gets to meet the rest of our Golden Girls herd!
