While you are at the museum for the second weekend of Haunted Museum on October 23-24, visit our next door neighbor, The Reid Center, for their Ghostly Tours! This is a new program offered by The Reid Center that allows guests to hear stories from the ghosts of Reid's past. You can do both, Haunted Museum and Ghostly Tours, without moving your car!
Bring friends and family to the Ghostly Tours of The Reid Center on either Friday, October 23, or Saturday, October 24, from 6 p.m. to 9 pm (Last tour begins at 8:30 pm) Tickets are $10/person or $25 per family.
Enjoy tales from past spirits, including Reid Center benefactor, Daniel G. Reed, Rev. Lyons, pastor of the Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church when it was dedicated in 1906, and the original architect of the Reid Center. Also expected, Clara Driscoll, who worked for Louis Comfort Tiffany, will be here to tell us about the beautiful Tiffany windows, and also, Mrs. Scott, the spouse of the first elder of the church.
Additionally, Jonathan Hampton will be playing our historic Hook and Hastings pipe organ, and Lisa Ginn and Jenny Williams will perform on our beautiful 1905 Starr grand piano.
Tickets are available online at https://reidcenter.org/tickets or in person at the Old National Road Welcome Center, 5701 National Road East, Richmond, Indiana. Questions? Give us a call at 765.966.7618.
Activities at The Reid Center are made possible in part by support from the Community Foundation of Randolph County and the Indiana Arts Commission, a state agency. Additional support is provided by Primex, the Stamm-Koechlein Family Foundation, Choice Realty One, Beach Automotive Services, Inc., and donors like you.
