Sixteen years ago today, April 20, 2010 — the Gulf of Mexico became ground zero for the largest marine oil spill in history. 134 million gallons. Countless lives, above and below the surface, changed forever.

The Spill is my response to that wound — and to every spill since. Sea Otters are especially affected by spills - the oil destroys their furs ability to insulate, causing fatal hypothermia.

A lot of people comment “oh that’s sad” and walk away from this piece, but it's important to remember these animals are endangered because of human actions.

10% of all profits this month will go towards the Ocean Conservancy to help protect otters and all marine wildlife.

Happy Earth Day!! What a perfect way to celebrate our amazing earth - visiting the St. Louis Aquarium and seeing a rescued Sea Turtle and a female Pacific Octopus during her last life stage, protecting her eggs.

Two beautiful animals that deserve to be protected and appreciated💙🐙

This piece, “Graceful Awakening” is all about spring renewal and hope.

This peacock bursts into the light, feathers alive with every shade of renewal. Painted against a warm golden background, she carries the energy of spring: bold, hopeful, and unapologetically vibrant.

To me, this piece embodies a fresh start and new beginnings☀️

- Original acrylic on canvas
- 14” x 14” — perfectly sized to make a statement
- Ready to hang in a beautiful gold floater frame
- $450

Drop a note in the comments if this speaks to you, or send a DM to bring this beauty home before she finds her wall.

🌸 Happy Motivation Monday! 🌸

Nature has a way of reminding us that after every hard season, something beautiful is waiting to grow. Whatever you’ve been carrying lately — a tough week, a slow season, a dream that feels far away — this is your reminder that growth is still happening, even when you can’t see it yet.

Show up today. Be patient with yourself. Bloom at your own pace. 🌷

Spring has officially arrived — and what better way to welcome the season than with a burst of color on your walls?

This vibrant peacock painting captures everything I love about this time of year: energy, renewal, and an explosion of life. The warm golden sunrise behind him, the rainbow of feathers fanning out in full glory — it just feels like spring.

Original art has a way of transforming a space that prints simply can’t replicate. Every brushstroke, every bold color choice, every detail was intentional — created by hand, one moment at a time.

If you’ve been thinking about adding something special to your home, there’s no better season to start than now. Spring is literally the season of new beginnings!

Available now — drop a comment or send me a message to bring this piece home.

Looking for a way to add a splash of color to your home?

“The Bleaching” will be on sale this weekend at the Fredericksburg Fine Art Sale.

Coral bleaching strips the reef of its color, life, and identity. Here, I’ve given it back in the vibrant swirls of color in the turtle. The beauty is the warning, and this painting embodies the hope that we will protect our oceans and all the creatures within them🩵

I am so excited to say my art was shown in Times Square this weekend! To be able to show my vision with the world where art can bring about change and inspiration for a better future is beyond what I could have dreamed of when I began my art journey!

Honored to receive the BLICK Art Materials Award!

This piece isn’t just about an octopus tangled in plastic - it’s about all of us. About the systems we’ve built, the waste we’ve normalized, and the beauty still fighting to survive beneath it all.

Art has always been my way of saying what words alone can’t. Thank you to everyone who sees my work and feels something. That’s where change begins. 🐙🌊

Art for change. Always.
