She has taught classes at the Florence Thomas Art School in West Jefferson for many years. Painting out of Moondog Fine Arts for almost a decade, her new studio "1718" is located at 1718 Scales Street in the Five Points area of Raleigh. An abstract expressionist, Susan specializes in a color kaleidoscope on canvas using only a palette knife. A fourth-generation artist, the Dahlin family's artistic

roots begin in Sweden, migrating to Norway. Susan's work currently hangs in homes across the United States.
