YAE Afterschool Fall Art Club is back!
We are excited to announce our **2026 Fall YAE Afterschool Art Club** at the Salmon River Fine Arts Center! These affordable, mindfulness-based art classes are designed to help young artists explore, create, experiment, and nurture their creative spirit.
Each month brings a brand-new creative adventure:
SEPTEMBER — Printmaking Adventures**
September 9–October 1
Students will explore block printing and Gelli plate printmaking while experimenting with ink, texture, layering, and everyday objects. They’ll discover how prints can become artwork, cards, posters, illustrations, book pages, fabric designs, and more!
OCTOBER — Ceramic Fairy Houses & Toadstools**
October 6–29
It’s time to build a little magic with clay! Students will create whimsical fairy houses, toadstools, and tiny treasures while learning hand-building, texture, and ceramic decorating techniques.
NOVEMBER — Fall Animal Babies: Mixed Media Art**
November 2–24
Cuddle up with creativity! Young artists will create adorable woodland animals inspired by fox kits, fawns, owlets, squirrels, and more using painting, drawing, collage, texture, and mixed media.
Programs are available for ages 5–10 and 10–16, from 3:30–5:00 PM.** There is also an option for school bus drop-off directly at the art center with a permission slip. Class size is limited to **8 students per group**.
**Pay what you can: $5–$40 per monthly session**
All materials and a snack are included, and **free scholarships are available!**
Registration is required for each monthly session. Sign up in person during gallery hours or online through our class registration page.
