"It was a rainy, damp day in Princeton, but Porchfest 2026 shone!

With showers in the forecast, the team at the Arts Council of Princeton quickly pivoted from porches around town to local indoor spaces. Working with community partners, they took Porchfest inside. The Princeton University Art Museum, the Graduate Hotel, our town’s library, and downtown businesses, like Small World Coffee, became stages for musicians and performing artists alike."

Our hearts and bellies are full!

Thank you to all our chefs for bringing the warmth on this rainy day and for all of you who ventured out to join us. We loved hearing everyone’s thoughts on what makes a good chili 🌶️

In conjunction with the Amer exhibit and the conclusion of her residency, Arts Council Executive Director Adam Welch has published the exhibition catalog “Ghada Amer: A New World.” The book features essays by Welch, Amer, and others. Beyond reflecting Amer’s Arts Council residency, Welch says, the book is a “reflection on our relationship with Ghada Amer, which began long before the residency itself. Since 2013, I have had the privilege of working with Ghada as a teacher, facilitator, collaborator, and, increasingly, as a witness to the ways in which her ideas have evolved through clay.”
