If you’ve ever run any type of business on Facebook you know there are scammers everywhere…but when I tell y’all I have NEVER dealt with the quantity of scammers trying to prey on my art page! I’ve had all sorts of business pages but I am gets messages EVERY DAY from people hoping I’m excited and gullible enough to fall for their BS. Notice how they almost always block me immediately when I call them out. This is just sad and ridiculous. Once upon a time I might have been ambitious and wanting enough to play into these types of scams. They always give a fake address (usually to some business). I’m not exactly sure what their angle is, but they want you to ship your art to random addresses and I’m guessing ask for a charge back on any money they might send? Idk, but this is ridiculous and ALL of these “accounts” have zero friends and zero posts. Facebook is doing nothing about these accounts or scammers. Just be aware. If you are an artist or selling anything, STICK TO YOUR GUNS! Don’t be so excited that someone is interested in your product that you ignore the red flags. 🚩 These people have no conscience, and they prey on those with a soul. Don’t fall for it. Keep your standards high and your boundaries firm. Sell your art on legitimate sites. This page is just for sharing my love of painting with my friends and family. It’s just got my goat this evening.
