For those who missed the womderful reception for "Through Her Lens," here are some photos! Guests enjoyed seeing the photos of Margaret Wilson Evarts as well as touring the museum. Plus, her daughter and grandchildren were there to support the event as well as one of Frederick Post's relatives. We also want to thank Rosemary Manor for their ongoing support, as well as kudos to W7 Studio for the photos, Rentals Tambi Eagle Events, Super 1 Foods, and Hagadone Media Group for signage/prints.

Plenty of opportuntiies to see the wonderful work of Margaret Wilson Evarts at the museum!

The Post Falls Historical Society was pleased to welcome the Mayor and City
Council to the Post Falls Historical Museum for a special tour of the
historic Chapin Building.

Located in the heart of the City campus, the Chapin Building connects our
community's past with its future. We appreciated the opportunity to share
the museum's exhibits, discuss the building's history, and highlight the
important role the museum plays in education, tourism, family research, and
community engagement.

Thank you to the Mayor and City Council for taking the time to visit, listen, and learn more about the work of our dedicated volunteers.
We look forward to continuing positive conversations about preserving this beautiful historic building and keeping Post Falls history at the heart of our
community.

Our history. Our museum. Our community story.

What makes something worth preserving?

Is it an old train car, a one-room schoolhouse, or a simple artifact with a powerful story? In the newest documentary from Idaho Experience, "Preserving Our American Memories," we explore the people and places working to protect Idaho's history for future generations.

From the Merci Train and Pierce Logging Museum to historic landmarks and local museums across the state, discover the stories behind the objects and buildings that connect us to our past.

"Preserving Our American Memories," premieres Thursday, July 30 at 8:30PM on IdahoPTV and at the same time on Youtube.
