On view now at the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce ✨

An exhibit of one-of-a–kind painterly prints on the subject of finding beauty in New Hampshire’s forests is on display at the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce from May 18 to July 17, 2026.

Scenic groves, bubbling streams and vernal pools delight the viewer as the entanglements and juxtapositions of the woods invoke the senses. The images in this display can inspire walks to find beauty in wild nature. New Hampshire artist Loretta CR Hubley created these pictures to share some of the joys of forest “bathing” when one immerses oneself in the ever-changing textured shapes and varied hues of woodlands. Loretta’s art has won recognition in national and local juried exhibits and been awarded fellowships and artist residency. Retired from university teaching, she continues to mentor art students and foster her creativity in painting and printmaking in her Nashua, NH Studio for Fine Art.

Hours for viewing are 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday at the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center, located at 49 South Main Street, Suite 104, in Concord, NH.

Call for Photography 📣

The call for our annual Lotte Jacobi juried photography show is live! We invite New England artists working in photographic mediums to submit 1-3 pieces, continuing our tradition of celebrating this important art form and preserving our organization's rich history.

In the early days of NHAA, photography was overlooked as a fine art medium, absent from our exhibitions. However, thanks to the pioneering advocacy of Lotte Jacobi, the perception shifted, and photography found its rightful place within our organization. Today, we proudly uphold a legacy of showcasing some of the finest photographers in New England, a testament to Lotte Jacobi's enduring impact. In honor of her contributions, we are proud to name this exhibition after her.

📆 Submission Deadline: Tuesday, June 30
📆 Exhibition Dates: July 29-Aug 30

Meet Pete Weissbrod, founder and facilitator of NHAA's Earth Tones group 🌍

Earth Tones, formed in 2025, is a collective of artists dedicated to deepening community connection to the natural world through creativity, education, and action. Rooted in the belief that environmental stewardship begins with the choices we make every day, the group uses art as a tool to inspire awareness, foster respect for the planet, and encourage participation in conservation efforts. Thank you, Pete!

The group meets monthly at NHAA's Robert Lincoln Levy Gallery, and has been participating in beach cleanups throughout the seacoast to gather materials for their first exhibition, Reclaimed | Renewed | Redeemed, in September.

Interested in supporting working groups like these? We've secured a $10,000 match for next month. You can double your impact on June 9th and 10th when you make a donation to NHAA!
