ABOUT BEVERLY......
Born in Missoula and raised in Portland, Oregon, Bev recently returned to Montana where she is making good on a promise to herself to return to making fine art after a 40-year career as a graphic designer. A graduate of the Pacific Northwest College of Art, Bev trained as a commercial artist, while also maintaining a love for painting — especially of natural spaces. After working as an art director in New York City, she opened Warren-Leigh Design in Portland, serving a variety of clients and advertising agencies, and in 2006 opened Timelines, Inc., a business specializing in book design and personal history services. Bev retired from commercial projects in 2022 to build her dream studio on the shores of Flathead Lake, where her parents used to take her and her siblings as children. She furthers her practice through workshops – most recently in Glacier Park, Alaska, Canada, Italy, and the Oregon Coast. She paints with dry pastel on sandpaper, and enjoys other mediums such as silk marbling, painting with oil and gouache.

“Realizing my lifelong desire to live in one of the most inspiring places in the world is an enormous blessing. Every day, I am moved by the light, the water, and mountains, which speak to me from a deep emotional place – all tied to my love of this landscape and my ancestral connection to it. In every stroke, I try to let those feelings flow through to the page.”

ABOUT LUKE......
Luke Orsborne graduated from William and Mary with a BS in Studio Art in 2001. Fueled by a long-term practice of meditation and self-reflection, he produces his creative works in rural Montana, in the form of art, poetry, and garden harvests. He has been a regular vendor at local arts and craft fairs and markets and painted a mural as part of the Polson public art projects in 2025. As part of his efforts toward creative community building, he managed the Ronan Farmers Market for several years and currently manages the Mission Falls Farmers Market.
