✨ Experience the art of Chris Manaseri — now on view at Pittsford Fine Art.

Chris Manaseri spent his career as a teacher, counselor, and administrator — then retired and went all in on art. He studied plein air painting in Hawaii, lost wax bronze sculpture with Jacki Lau, and returned to New York in 2016 to pursue painting and sculpture full-time. His influences — Andrew and Jamie Wyeth, Rockwell Kent, Edward Hopper — are artists celebrated for their realism and for the way they place individuals in relationship to their surroundings. That same quality runs through Chris's work: a close attention to the human figure, to natural and constructed environments, and to the details that make a place or a person feel real.

Working in watercolor, plein air oil, and sculpture, Chris brings the same passion to his "second act" that he once brought to public education — and intends to keep making art for as many years as he worked in schools. Come see what that dedication looks like on canvas and in bronze.

✨ Experience the art of Jerry Alonzo — now on view at Pittsford Fine Art.

There is nothing accidental in a Jerry Alonzo sculpture. The wood is chosen for its character. The forms — houses, birds, boats, flowers — are chosen for their meaning. The painted surfaces and steel elements are chosen for what they add to the conversation. And the engraved words are chosen because, for a man who spent a lifetime in the law, words have always mattered.

Jerry came to his MFA at RIT after decades on the bench, and brought with him a lifetime of thinking about what is fair, what is just, and what the world could be. His sculpture gives those concerns a physical presence — something you can walk around, examine, and sit with. Come see it for yourself.

✨ Experience the art of Mark Stone — now on view at Pittsford Fine Art.

Mark Stone's process begins on a screen — digital sketches, color experiments, compositions tested and refined until the idea is clear. Then he picks up a brush and moves to birch panel, where the hard edges and bold color fields of his abstract paintings are laid down with the precision of someone trained at the College for Creative Studies and shaped by a career as a Creative Director. The result is work that reads as machine-made from across the room and unmistakably handcrafted up close: the layered textures, the subtle irregularities, the evidence of a person working through something with both control and feeling.

Detroit-born, Rochester-adopted, and deeply rooted in the Finger Lakes, Mark makes paintings that are dynamic, demanding, and entirely his own. Come see them in person — the difference between the screen and the panel is the whole point.

With 47 years of architectural art glass commissions on record, glass artist Nancy Gong is creating independent works of art in glass for collectors. "Redbud" (approx. 15" x 15") is showing at at the four corners in the village a short walk from the .
Color is emotion. The beauty of the RedBud tree will soon be bursting into flaming autumn colors. It's dreamy looking up into the tree. The fall colors are filled with emotion. It makes my heart throb. . . just like those heart shaped leaves – that's why I created this abstract design in glass!
