Historic Summerseat of Bucks County

Historic Summerseat of Bucks County Summerseat, located in Bucks County Pennsylvania is a restored National Historic Landmark. Groups are welcome at the restored National Historic Landmark.

The Historic Morrisville Society's Summerseat Building was Thomas Barclay's circa 1765 Georgian mansion and Washington's headquarters in December 1776. Subsequent owners include Declaration of Independence and Constitution signer, Robert Morris.

🇺🇸 Today, on Flag Day, I had the privilege of visiting the historic Summerseat House here in Morrisville, where George Washington once had his headquarters. It was a powerful reminder of the rich history and the values that our flag represents.

The flag stands as a symbol of unity, freedom, and the enduring spirit of our nation. As we reflect on its meaning today, let’s also remember the strength we find in coming together as a community.

Let’s honor the flag by embracing the values it represents and working together for a brighter future for Morrisville.
