I’m heartbroken to say that our beloved bird, Peter died. 😭 feels rediculous to be this sad but he was very special to me and added so much fun to our home and my gallery. The last 10 days have been so stressful as Pensacola was hit hard by hurricane Isaias. We fared well and have been helping neighbors and friends as much as we can.
Go make someone feel special today because that’s what Peter would do. 🥹
And if you see me, please give me a hug.

Some pics from Garden & Gun shoot and a few “before” pics too. Scroll to see the door I covered up with a curtain wall. That door leads to what I call the “smoking porch” and was completely unnecessary. Besides, my bed needed to go on that wall so I could see the bay across the street. 😀
We have a family joke about my dad hanging a fern in front of anything he didn’t want to see so I think this curtain is in that vein. 😂
I was originally unsure about this wood and copper tub but you’ll have to bury me in it now. Check out that Osprey by Loren Miller over it. He’s available at my gallery and online. And so is that painting of mine over the bed. 😘
