Inklings by Carol Watercolor, pen & ink original art. I enjoy working with fairly small pictures: I think they would b So far, so good!

I was the kid who took great pride in always coloring in the lines of the coloring book. I had and have a great imagination, but my early years were spent making sure I followed the "rules." Now that I'm retired, I am learning that we generally have a great deal of leeway in those rules. My motto is a mash up of several: Do no harm; leave the world better than you found it; and don't violate your own code of ethics. Retirement has allowed me the luxury of time to pursue painting and pen and ink. I have many, many workshop teachers to thank for the start I got in art, and I'd like to think I am making my own unique mark on the world with the way I view and represent it. This site will be used to explore my art journey and share my creations. Unless otherwise noted, the works I post will be for sale. iI you are so inclined to enjoy my work in your own space, feel free to PM or email me for more information. And please feel free to leave comments--I would love to hear what you think about my ruminations or artwork.
