The Florida Agricultural Legacy Learning Center⁠ is looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and engaging individuals to join our team as Part-Time Seasonal Interpretive Guides and Tour Guides!

Do you enjoy working with people, sharing stories, bringing history to life, and helping visitors experience Florida’s rich agricultural heritage? This may be the perfect opportunity for you!

Our guides help create memorable experiences for visitors of all ages through historic tours, heritage livestock experiences, and interactive educational programs. From Florida pioneer life and citrus history to archaeology, maritime history, and the stories of early Florida, there is always something fascinating to share! 🌿🐴🏛️

We are looking for individuals who are:

✨ Friendly and engaging
✨ Comfortable speaking with individuals and groups
✨ Interested in Florida history, agriculture, and education
✨ Enthusiastic about working with children, families, schools, and visitors

Step into Florida’s past… and experience it come to life.

Join us for A Day in Old Florida, the inaugural living history event at the Florida Agricultural Legacy Learning Center. This immersive, family-friendly experience brings together stories, skills, and cultures that shaped Florida—from Native American life in the 1400s to Florida cow hunters of the 1800s, and the many communities in between.

Throughout the day, guests can explore interactive demonstrations, meet historical interpreters, visit encampments, and discover unique goods at the Trading Post—all set against the natural beauty of our 460-acre property.

Saturday, October 17 – Open to the Public (10 AM – 4 PM)

Admission is $10 per person.

🌱✨ YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR SPOTLIGHT: MEET AYDEN!

Tomorrow night, Food Truck Friday on the Farm will be more than great food, music, and family fun—it’s also a place where the next generation of entrepreneurs gets to shine! 🌾💚

Meet Ayden, the young entrepreneur behind Luffa ProducA!

What started as a gardening project has grown into a small business. Ayden has learned firsthand what it takes to turn something he grows with his own hands into useful, all-natural products.

🌱 He discovered that luffas aren't sea sponges—they're plants!
🌱 He learned how to grow and harvest them.
🌱 He learned how to peel, clean, and prepare them.
🌱 And then he took the next step: turning his homegrown luffa into products people can use every day!

That's what we love about our FREE Youth Entrepreneur Vendor Program at Food Truck Friday.

It's not just about selling a product. It's about giving young people the opportunity to create, learn, interact with customers, build confidence, and experience entrepreneurship firsthand.

And tomorrow night, you can meet Ayden, check out his harvest, and stop by his booth! And be sure to ask him the question every luffa grower eventually gets asked…
