PrairieArt Studio Welcome to the PrairieArt Studio's official page! Stay in touch with new class offerings an

In our fast-paced, technological world, students need to unplug and develop their problem solving and visual thinking skills. Visual arts promotes critical thinking skills and concentration, which benefit all areas of learning. Our philosophy is that EVERYONE can learn to draw and there is always room to improve. We offer a relaxed and supportive environment where students of all levels can explore their creativity through realistic drawing. Classes generally meet once a week and run continuously month-to-month, throughout the school year. The curriculum is progressive to offer a continuous set of challenges to any skill level so that all students can get the most out of our programs. We keep small class sizes to facilitate individual instruction and allow students to join into an on-going class at any time. Our page is meant to showcase our student's work and communicate new events, deals, workshops, and tips for all artists.

Everyone can Draw! Yes, even you! The following artwork was done by a self proclaimed “can’t draw” student and an 84 years young student who remembers drawing as a child with her sister.

Inspiration is everywhere!

Artist Henry Jock Walker has spent thousands of hours surfing, and it has all been invaluable research for his vibrant, nostalgic artworks made of recycled wetsuits.
