Orcas Island Artworks is officially open for the 2026 season! We took the last number of weeks to freshen up, and now we've reopened with new works from nearly 40 Orcas Island artists. You'll be astonished by the array of imagination and talent represented on one island!

Leon Rosenblatt is not only one of our new artists at Orcas Artworks, but he is also our featured artist for February and March. His current work, REMNANTS from the Future, incorporates both organics and manmade “urban” fossils, depicting the remains of our culture as may be discovered many millennia from now.

We've completed the freshening up stage of our Winter Break at the gallery. Good thing that many hands make light work -- one of the many benefits of an Artist Cooperative! Walls have been patched, sanded and painted, and every display cube in the building has gotten a repainting. Now to allocate space and hang art -- still a ways to go, but we'll see you Feb. 11!
