Excited about this new one I’m almost finished with! Trying to really capture the spirit of the mountains, and something deeper too…

I heard this metaphor recently and it inspired this painting. Mist moves through the trees, making them disappear, only to reveal them again moments later.

Perhaps this is how we experience the Self or how we experience God. The fog obscuring the trees and then revealing them again.
Sometimes the fog of life makes us forget what is always here. And then, when the mist lifts, we remember again. ❤️

“The Voyage Home”

We’re the only species that carries resentment, ego, judgment — but animals, especially whales, remind us how to live in harmony with one another. Orcas travel in pods, care for their young, protect each other, and even guide strangers out of danger. They live with presence, unity, and grace.This painting is about that ripple — how the energy we move through the world with affects the whole. One act of kindness, one loving choice, can echo outward and lead others toward peace.

We’ve forgotten how to live like that — numbed by screens, news, constant messages telling us who we should be. We’ve traded presence for pressure, and it leaves us anxious and disconnected.

But the way home is simple: move with love. Be part of the ripple.
