Memorial Day isn't just a day off work or school. It is a day or somber remembrance. We get to enjoy it as a " day off" because of men and women who put their lives on the line. We get to move on with our shopping, hiking, and boating because of the sacrifice of the heros we honor on this day. Memorial Day at Riverside Cemetery, Old Forge when the first Veteran was burid there.

Bob Langston's mushrooms are worried. They heard the Garden Sculptures from Francis Metal works are on the way to Gallery 3040. I tried to explain they will fit nicely into house plants but the stone sculptures will guard the realm, stand tall and keep the deer at bay. Or sit on the patio or hearth. Some can even sit on your desk, our counter. Yes, it is that time again for the Herons, Bison, Deer, Moose, Snails, Loons and more to arrive from where they are made in Minnesota. We have a new potter, Twice Baked Pottery from Wisconsin and our guy, Scott Obernberger has done something really tricky with his gfoblets! He had managed to find a consistent opening size so that he can turn them into a travel mug!

We are proud to have 7 of our Gallery Artists participating in the Cental Adirondack 75th Art show currently at View. Robert Langston was a late entry when he found out about the show from us and entered for the first time. Pictured below is Bob and his wife who recently relocated to Forestport. We also are proud of Judy Soprano, Judson Brown, Greg Klein, Tom Slocum, Jeanne Lampson all in this show. Plan to visit View and Gallery 3040 to see more examples of their Art.
