She writes:
"I grew up in the south of France from ages 5 until I was 20. This is where I developed my love of painting as I watched the sun go down each day behind a pine tree covered hill, topped with the ruins of an ancient windmill. As my mother was American and my father French, I have always felt enriched by both cultures and my family history. I have a BSE in French and Art, and a MSE in Art. In 1986,my husband, my daughter and I moved to Oklahoma from Missouri. This was a new land for me but the land of my husband! I have become a true Okie! After having taught French and German for over 25 years, I retired, and have devoted my time to my first love, painting!
"My works were displayed in the Contemporary Art Gallery on the Paseo (Art on Paseo) in Oklahoma City for seven years and then in Paseo Gallery One on the Paseo for ten years until September 2023. In addition, my works were exhibited in ‘La Place’, an art and perfume gallery in Paris, France. Several pieces were on display for all of 2019 with a special showing featuring my artwork from April to May 2019. In November 2024, my works were exhibited on a three month commission in the Strata Tower at View 28 with the opportunity for further showings once or twice a year. Currently, my works are on display at 50 Penn Place Art Gallery.
"Thank you for supporting the artists of 50 Penn Place Art Gallery! I am so glad I have had the chance to be among these great artists for over two years! I am looking forward to a new opportunity allowing me to move to Dallas. When the apartment I am looking for will present itself, and it may be soon, I will still have to sell my house! I hope you can come to my farewell Gallery party! It was so nice that it was thought of and put together by the members of this gallery! I will miss my Oklahoma friends! Thank you!"
