The LITERARY BRANCH at the OJAI ART CENTER presents:

BOLD POETRY & BEAUTIFUL MUSIC - - A Melodic Union: Three Award-Winning Latino Poets and Classical Guitarist & Vocalist.

This SUNDAY 8/23 - 2 pm

They will be welcoming regional Latino authors and poets Melinda Palacio, Angel Garcia, and Emma Trelles, who will read new work as well as poems that have been published in national journals and in their award-winning books. Hear their words and inspire your soul.

Accompanying them will be Alas Latinas: Claudia Simone, a linguist and native of Great Britain, is a vocalist who sings in Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian. Don Cardinali, a guitarist since the age of 12, owns Ojai's Cardinali Brothers Music Store and has been part of Ojai's music scene since the 1970s.
