We had so much fun creating these summer sun collages at our first Free Kids Craft Saturday!

Join us every week this summer for Free Kids Craft Saturdays, a drop-in activity where families can create, explore, and make memories together.

Each week features a new hands-on craft designed to spark imagination and creativity. All ages are welcome, and no experience is needed. Just stop by anytime between 11am and 1pm and join the fun!

The Artists Paint OC Festival returns for its 21st year August 12th-16th!

Fifty-plus artists from the Mid Atlantic region will paint throughout Ocean City for awards totaling over $9,000.

Wet Paint Sales: Saturday, August 15th from 5-7pm and Sunday, August 16th from 1-3pm at The Art League of Ocean City!

Artist Spotlight: Gavin Bromell

I aspire to be a painterly painter. My work seeks to celebrate the tension that is inherent in trying to capture an infinitely multifaceted reality through primitive mark making on a flat surface. Cave paintings come to mind. I am particularly fascinated by the boundary between representational and abstract painting. I admire Richard Diebenkorn’s work for it’s brave excursions back and forth across this borderline.

Throughout a childhood of exploration in countries of the Middle East, thanks to my father’s work as a diplomat, I was fascinated by the common miracle of vision through light and color. Like children everywhere, I sought to understand the mysterious world around me through all my senses. But I feel that vision became my primary way of processing the bewilderingly kaleidoscopic scenes I encountered from Athens to Baghdad, Amman, Kuwait, Cairo and Teheran. Surrounded by languages and cultures that I couldn’t understand, the simple act of visual organization became my way of coping.

🎥 Calling All Filmmakers - registration now open!

The Ocean City Film Challenge invites you to create a short narrative or documentary film (10 minutes or less) shot in or about Ocean City.

All films must include a designated line of dialogue, follow a cinematic storyline, and be completed within the challenge timeframe.

📅 Registration opens June 1 and closes June 30 (space is limited)

Artist Spotlight: Jon Bandish

Jon Bandish is a painter, originally from Philadelphia, with roots in the Conshohocken area, who now lives and works near the beach in Dagsboro, Delaware. He studied Drawing and Painting at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and frequently teaches courses at arts organizations in the area. His work is focused around nature and, in particular, our experiences of the ocean. Jon is also an accomplished musician who plays several instruments.
