Neptune's began as Ewald's grocery store in 1926. Love this old menu and PRICES! When Mark and Cindy Raffles had Neptune's and Billy was the number 1 cook, I loved the flank steak. Bayside History Museum celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the NBVFD. John Tippett will be on hand with his wonderful new book about the history of the NBVFD. John Tippett will also be at the Twin Beaches Library Thursday, August 6 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm for a presentation of the history of NBVFD.
Join Pat Nutter, Julius Sherbert and other NBVFD personnel this evening and reminisce about the good old days in the fire department.
Open House from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening. No Admission. Refreshments served.

Wednesday, August 5, 2026 from 6 to 8 p.m. (OPEN HOUSE)
Pants worn in 1929 are now 97 years old. LEGACY uniforms worn by Clark (1948); Sherbert (1952-1954); McWilliams (1946-1951); Kelly (1950) and others on displaly.
No Admission. Refreshments served.

The Twin Beaches Lions Club was instrumental in supporting the earlier years of the NBFVD. This letter is from the 1976 Program (50th Anniversary) and Lions Club Jackets are c 1940s and c 1950s. From the Guido, Sherbert and Fowler collections.
