Today is the LAST day of our summer exhibit: A Day at the Fair! Stop by today from 10 am to 4 pm to learn all about the Hunter family and their trips to world's fair's and expositions!

Pictured is one of our Hunter House mysteries. It is a photographic souvenir postcard from the Jamestown Exposition of 1907. Though the postcard is not signed, the handwriting matches a correspondent of Eloise, one Lieutenant Arthur La Cruz Ferreira.

As far as we aware, we don't know the men in the photo's actual connection to the family except that they appear to be friends or shipmates of Lieutenant Ferreira. Lieutenant Ferreira is also a mystery to us - one we hope to unravel one day!
