TONIGHT is the SongWriters Series performance, August 30th 7pm-9pm at the HCAA Birdie Gallery located at 195 S. 5th Street in Noblesville, IN! Locally started by John Gilmore and hosted by Noblesville Creates, these songwriter events are a chance for local musicians to not only play their original songs but also share with the audience the story and inspiration behind the music. A suggested donation of $10 to attend goes toward paying the musicians and the staff that run the event. Alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages will be for sale, and doors open at 6:30pm. Featured Musicians: Tay Bronson, Greg Ziesemer, and Stuart Poe.

Congratulations to HCAA artists Deborah Smith, Bill Bernard, and Heather Ray Boelke on their merit awards at the 2026 Carmel On Canvas Plein Air Paint Out today! HCAA Youth Membership Council member Isaac Anthony received 2nd place in the teen division!

Homeschool Studio (September) w/ Heather Ray Boelke returns this fall on September 4th! Students ages 5 to 12 learn about the elements of art and principles of design through a monthly art curriculum taught by licensed art educator and HCAA Juried Artist member Heather Ray Boelke. This course provides engaging hands-on lessons, including concepts of art history and art theory with creative and fine-motor development.

This school year, students explore the unique qualities of different art mediums. They will study 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional art forms, along with studio practices that encourage artistic development. September 4ths is Observational Drawing–Still Life Study! HCAA's Youth Membership Council is a group of students who live or attend school in Hamilton County, Indiana in grades 7th-12th grade. They meet once a month at the HCAA Birdie Gallery to explore a variety of artistic disciplines, connect with professional artists, build leadership & team skills, and exhibit their artwork in a gallery setting!
