Two artists. Two evocative wood sculptures by Leslie Cecchini & Joe Sinsabaugh. AVAILABLE at BALL HIlL The Arcade.

Leslie Cecchini is a local artist in Millersport, Ohio. With a lifetime in big steel and heavy industry in Pittsburgh, this retired Millwright respects the tools and now channels creative energy through hammer and chisels to release fabulous forms from whole trees.

Joe Sinsabaugh is a painter and sculptor with a lifetime connection to nature and native culture. A veteran and retired pilot, Joe lives at his family farm in St. Louisville. As an artist, he spins ancient imagery into contemporary concepts of beauty.

Sir Michael W. Surber is an award-winning Ohio based artist known for his paintings and murals. From a young age, he has had a desire for art. Michael graduated college with a degree in Graphic Design. He is a member of the Dayton Society of Artist. His work has been in The Edward A Dixon Art gallery in Dayton, Las Laguna Art Gallery, in California, Influx Gallery in Notting Hill, London, The Holy Art Gallery, in Athens, Greece, Tapiial Virtual Art Gallery in Santiago, Chile, The Holy Art Gallery, in Amsterdam, The Holy Art Gallery, in Brussels, Boomer Art Gallery, in London where his work was curated by Anthony Fawcett (curator for Andy Warhol and John Lennon), The Holy Art Gallery Paris, France, The Holy Art Gallery, Paros Islands, Greece, Contemporary Art Collectors, Barcelona, Spain, The Fringe Coffee Shop in Hamilton, Ohio, MADS Art Gallery in Milan, Italy, His artwork has been published in Artistonish Magazine, in Vancouver, Canada, Dayton Beer Advisor, Dayton, Goddess Art Magazine, in Germany, Game Informer Magazine, Cosplayer Magazine, and The Italian Press Newspaper.

His paintings have been sold all across the world. Michael’s artwork has been described by collectors and curators as poetic, essential, experimental, primal, and storytelling. Scott Gibbs, a master painter and Dayton native, referred to Michael as a “Creative Bad Ass” after viewing some of Michael’s work. A curator from Milan, Italy even went so far as to compare his technique and creative process as “similar to Master Picasso.”

Artists APPLY! APPLICATION DEADLINE is September 20!

The Fall 2026 Fine Arts Fair is a juried event held at the Historic Newark Arcade, in Downtown Newark, OH. The upcoming fair will take place on Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 11am-4pm, providing an opportunity for selected artists to show and sell their fine art works. We hope to feature participants whose works include paintings, photography, ceramics & pottery, glass art, fabric art, wood art, and other creations.
DEADLINE: All entries are due by 11:59pm on September 20, 2026.

All submitting artists must be a minimum of 18 years old and live in the state of Ohio.

Up to 30 artists will be selected to participate in the Fine Arts Fair.

Selected artists will be notified via email on or before September 27, 2026. A list of selected artists will also be listed online (www.ballhill.com).

Declined submissions will also be notified by September 27, 2026.

If selected, each artist must pay $50 to secure their space at the event.

All submissions must be made online via the above link posted on the Fall 2026 Fine Arts Fair page on the BALL HILL The Arcade website (www.ballhill.com).
