Angels Overpass
A visual piece that poetically juxtaposes images of man-made architecture with the architecture of nature. Like angels, we sometimes see ourselves as part of the natural world while also being beyond it. Can it be that the natural world is the heaven we seek? By creating our own world through technology are we drifting from something important and essential to us? These are questions and ideas that had guided the spirit of this video.

Gravitation
Composer Nolan Stolz performs the 2020 “COVID” version of his composition Gravitation, an open instrumentation piece for any 5 to 8 performers. Instead of having several musicians unsafely “uncomfortably crowd around one another” on stage like in the original version, this “COVID” version was performed by a single musician overdubbing all of the parts. Stolz uses the medium of video to present his composition in a way impossible in live performance. This version includes two electric guitars, two bass guitars, three synthesizers, drum set, found objects/percussion (wood against wood, metal against metal, and wood against metal). Completed in 2021, it was recorded and filmed in Spartanburg, SC and Belle, MO during a summer 2020 artist residency at Osage Arts Community.

In early 2009, the establishment of the first breast milk bank in Lima, Peru, began to take shape. This initiative involved the collaboration of researchers and healthcare professionals from the National Institute of Maternal Perinatal Health in Lima and the University of Valencia. This documentary showcases the individuals who made it possible and provides a firsthand account of the experiences that enabled the implementation of this top-notch healthcare project. The initiative has significantly contributed to enhancing maternal and perinatal health, ultimately improving the quality of life for Peruvian families and their infants
