Tryon Palace gardens are open for FREE today, Sunday, October 11, in historic downtown New Bern. Hundreds of mums and a variety of fall blooming plants are on display throughout the 21 acres of gardens at Tryon Palace.
Gardens are free and open to the public (Noon - 6:00pm)

Tryon Palace gardens are open for FREE, today through Sunday, (October 10 & 11), in historic downtown New Bern. Hundreds of mums and a variety of fall blooming plants are on display throughout the 21 acres of gardens at Tryon Palace.
Gardens are free and open to the public today 10:30am-6:00pm, Sunday Noon-6:00pm

Discover the Art of Fiber at Tryon Palace!
Today, Saturday, October 10th 10am-3pm!
Step into the world of historic and modern fiber arts. Watch skilled artists demonstrate traditional spinning and weaving techniques, transforming raw, natural materials into beautiful woven creations. Explore period reproduction textiles, authentic tools, fiber samples, and 18th-century clothing.
Admission is FREE.
Presented in partnership with the Seacoast Spinners and Weavers, this event takes place today at the Commission House, 610 Po***ck Street, directly across from the Tryon Palace front gates.

There's always something happening behind the scenes at Tryon Palace!

Our facilities team is always busy making sure our Historic Sites are in top shape for our visitors. Today, they have been working on the front porch of the Historic Commission House.

You might not see them at work, but you've definitely seen their work if you've visited Tryon Palace. Thanks to our team for always being there to make sure everything is working and looking great!
