Join us for a reception on Friday April 10th. Herpetologist and photographer, Dr John Cossel Jr. presents his striking images of reptiles and amphibians set against dramatic black and white backgrounds. This photography technique strips away the extraneous elements that usually allow these creatures to blend into their environments and displays them in all their bold, colorful uniqueness. Vibrant frogs, venomous vipers, swimming newts and other bizarre yet beautiful creatures fill the gallery walls in this unique glimpse into an unseen world. (Text from Friesen Gallery)
