What an honor and a privilege to teach these young artists all year long, but summer camp is always special! The kids get exposed to as much art as possible for an entire week. 3rd day of camp we had a very special guest teacher, Ms. Maya who used to work in our sharing garden and she taught the kids how to make garden art. The young artists created the most beautiful mushrooms that will go in our sharing garden. Ms. Stephanie joined in on the fun and the kids had treats and prizes after clean up. 2nd day of Summer, Art Camp with Ms. Amy was another huge success for a Tie Dye and Tires Tuesday. The kids made tie dye t-shirts and painted the sharing garden tires. They also painted acrylic art work expressing themselves with their own flare! Thank you to our staff camp leaders, this would not be possible without their help. The kids also created personal watercolor art and we finished the first day with prizes and candy suckers.
