We made it through the week — IT’S FRIDAY!

BAM is open today from 10 AM–5 PM at 1111 I Street, Suite 105, Downtown Modesto.

We have a fun new addition at the Be Anything Museum — **Baby That-a-way by Mattel!**

This adorable vintage Mattel doll brings back some wonderful memories for our Executive Director & Founder, **Lourdes Uranday**, who had a Baby That-a-way back in the day! There’s something extra special about adding a piece to the museum that connects directly to childhood memories and reminds us just how much our favorite toys can stay with us through the years.

A very special **thank you to our local museum friends who stopped by and generously donated Baby That-a-way to BAM!** We are so grateful for friends and supporters who continue to help us grow our collection and preserve these nostalgic treasures for future generations to enjoy.

What a wonderful weekend celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Jose M. Hernandez Reaching for the Stars Foundation!

Day 3 was especially memorable as we were honored to join Astronaut Jose M. Hernandez and other special guests for a VIP event at his parents’ ranch. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate 20 years of the RFTS Foundation’s commitment to inspiring and empowering the next generation.

Throughout the event, I had the opportunity to discuss future collaborations with the RFTS Foundation, Astronaut Jose M. Hernandez, Stanislaus State University, and other community leaders and VIPs in attendance. These conversations reinforced exactly why I do what I do through the Be Anything Museum & Business Resource Center.

As a nonprofit, BAM is about giving back to our community, opening doors of opportunity, and providing our next generation with the career exploration, training, mentorship, resources, and guidance they need to dream bigger and prepare for their future.

This weekend was a wonderful reminder of what can happen when education, business, nonprofits, and community leaders come together with a shared purpose.

We have some exciting partnerships, collaborations, and events ahead, and I look forward to sharing more very soon!

Congratulations to Astronaut Jose M. Hernandez and the entire Reaching for the Stars Foundation on 20 incredible years of reaching for the stars and inspiring others to do the same!

Day Two of celebrating the Jose M. Hernandez Reaching for the Stars Foundation’s 20th Anniversary was a great success!

It was wonderful to see Modesto City Schools students come together for an incredible opportunity to meet and greet two inspiring trailblazers—Astronaut José M. Hernández and Dr. Ellen Ochoa, the first Latina astronaut in space.

Students also had the opportunity to watch *A Million Miles Away*, the inspiring film based on José Hernández’s journey from working alongside his family in the fields of California’s Central Valley to achieving his dream of becoming a NASA astronaut.

The Be Anything Museum & Business Resource Center was proud to be instrumental in helping make this experience possible for our local students. This is exactly what BAM’s Youth Career Exploration program is about—connecting young people with real-life role models, exposing them to possibilities, and encouraging them to dream bigger about their futures.
