—> Internationally recognized, award-winning Sculptor & Visual Artist Mylene Costa enters the season with an exceptional global exhibition on the island of Crete in Greece, participating in Select Art 2026 at Villa Moma in Chania, Crete, Greece from May 23–25, 2026 organized by World Of Crete IKE. For this presentation, the artist will be showing sculptures Guilhermina, and Greta, two works that continue Costa’s research into matter, presence, and the sculptural body. Mylene Costa’s participation in Select Art 2026 marks another important international milestone in the artist’s rapidly expanding trajectory, further positioning her sculptural practice within a global dialogue surrounding materiality, presence, and contemporary form. Presented at the prestigious Villa Moma in Chania, Crete from May 23–25, 2026, the exhibition brings together an international selection of galleries, artists, antiques, and collectors from 35+ countries for one of the Mediterranean region’s most refined cultural gatherings. VIP Opening Night for Select Art 2026 will take place on Saturday, May 23rd. As the only Art & Antique Fair in Crete, Select Art has established itself as a distinctive destination for collectors, diplomats, curators, and international cultural figures seeking highly curated contemporary and historical works within an intimate luxury setting. --> Miami-based artist Hermes Berrío's painting, "𝓗𝓪𝓷𝓰𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓲𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 305" (2025), Mixed media on canvas, 66” × 82”. Berrío received his BFA from New York University (2005). In recent years, he has participated in group and solo exhibitions around the world for galleries and institutions in USA, Latin America, Europe and Australia. He has also completed a number of murals, with the most recent installations throughout the city of Miami. Berrío has been awarded numerous awards including The Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant in 2018 and 2022, in 2019 he was awarded The Ruth and Harold Chenven Foundation Grant, in 2023 he was the recipient of a South Florida Cultural Consortium Grant, and in 2023 and 2024 the Miami Individual Artist (MIA) Grant. He was a Fountainhead Studio artist resident from 2019 to 2024. He continues to evolve his practice, investigating new processes and mediums, while challenging contemporary expectations with his prodigious compositions.

--> Edouard Duval-Carrié has been announced as a participating artist in the 61st International Art Exhibition of Venice Biennale, In Minor Keys, opening May 9, 2026, in Venice. Curated by Koyo Kouoh, the exhibition brings together 111 artists from around the world whose practices explore memory, history and global cultural dialogue. Duval-Carrié, whose landmark installation “The Indigo Room” is part of NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale’s permanent collection and lobby experience, continues to shape international conversations around identity, diaspora and historical narrative.
