Meet Kevin Fletcher.
Popular with collectors from across the globe, this is Fletcher’s 4th year participating in CHROMA at Lucid Art Gallery.
Kevin creates figurative portraits that explore perception, identity, and the quiet tension of emotional presence. These works often depict fragmented, suspended moments - what the artist refers to as “momentary portraits” - where the subject’s essence is gradually revealed through process. This discovery unfolds not only in the final image but throughout the layering and development of each piece.
Kevin is a Hispanic American mixed-media painter and muralist based in Miami. A self-taught painter with a formal background in architecture and design, he draws on over fourteen years of practice across Florida, the Caribbean, and the Middle East - an experience that shapes the geometry and structure underlying his figurative work. His portraits explore the perceptions of identity we develop, display, and conceal, rendering the human figure inbound planes of color and line.
