Looking back at a special evening with Miami’s creative community. ✨

Last month, we joined the MAEC Arts & Entertainment Industry Mixer at Ampersand Studios — a night filled with art, music, meaningful connections, and inspiring conversations about creativity and the future of the arts.

For LAAP, it was especially meaningful to be part of this gathering, celebrating a connection with MAEC that goes back to 2005 and a shared commitment to supporting Miami’s local artists.

Art connects us. Community makes us stronger. 💫

A beautiful evening celebrating art, culture, and community ✨

The reception for Faces of Hispanicity: Rhythm, Tradition, Memory at Miramar Cultural Center brought together artists, friends, families, collectors, and visitors for a wonderful evening celebrating Hispanic art and culture.

A special thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening so memorable: TRI D, who filled the celebration with Latin American music; our first visitors; Vice Mayor Carson “Eddy” Edwards, who took a special interest in Teeyah’s work, representing Haiti as the invited country; LAAP project artists Sheila Fraga and Felisa Prieto; and the wonderful group of artists, families, and a collector visiting from Jamaica.

We also shared a delicious Latin American buffet, adding another taste of our diverse cultural heritage to the celebration.

Thank you to everyone who raised a glass with us. Art is also about this: coming together, sharing, and creating connections.
