There is a universe inside the surface of this piece, and it got there through fracture.

“The Spirit Within My Scars” is the first work we are sharing from Miami artist Michael Amquy, and it is an introduction that could not be more honest.

Deep blues and purples shift like a cosmos, interrupted by warm bursts of amber and copper that feel like heat, like memory, like something that refused to go out.

Raised between the Lakota tradition of his father and the visual world his mother opened for him, Michael channels inner spirit, nature, and lived emotion into abstract work.

We are so proud to share a glimpse of FOLCLORE, the latest collection by and the selection of works by that served as inspiration, two creative visions that share the same intricate, whimsical spirit.

Presented at the Embassy of Spain in Mexico City, this collaboration was a beautiful moment for both artists, and we couldn’t be more proud of them.

Night Flowers finds its home. 🌸

This piece by Carlos Andrade has traveled from our walls in Miami Shores to the home of a beautiful young couple just starting their life together — and there is something deeply right about that. Night Flowers was always about the energy between two people: the faces hidden in the blue silhouette, the flowers that bloom from that shared space, the way intimacy and growth are inseparable.

Watching Carlos embrace the new owners was one of those quiet, electric moments that remind us why we do this.

Being part of a community that continues to support creativity, independent spaces, and artistic dialogue means a great deal to me.

CLAUG Creative Studio was built from a desire to create a place where art, experimentation, and connection could coexist, and it’s an honor to see that vision recognized.

Thank you to everyone who has visited the studio, supported the work, collaborated with us, and believed in what we are building here in Miami Shores.

With gratitude,

From artwork to couture.

For her collection Presagio SS26, Spanish designer drew inspiration from Carlos Andrade’s The Post Human Gaze #2, transforming its visual language into garments that move between strength, instinct, and transformation.

At the center of Presagio is the horse, a timeless symbol of tension and grace, of resilience, movement, and what is yet to come.

Through fluid silhouettes and textures that evoke skin, armor, and wind, the collection translates these ideas into the language of haute couture.

What began as an artistic dialogue between friends evolved into a collaboration where art becomes wearable, and fashion expands beyond the body into something symbolic and emotional.

What happens when form is no longer constrained by function?

With Modolith, Tyler Oviedo () pushes beyond traditional boundaries.

Using recycled plastic and digital fabrication, Oviedo creates a piece that feels both architectural and intimate.

A lamp, yes. But also an exploration of structure, rhythm, and light.

The same piece, four different atmospheres.

Color, light, and context shift the way we see—and feel—an artwork.

What remains constant is the work itself, but everything around it changes the experience.

Which one speaks to you most?

At CLAUG, we work with pieces that unfold in space, not just on a screen.

This macramé invites a slower kind of looking, where detail and presence take over.

Come experience it in person.
